What a fitting name for such a perfect little princess! Leia was a dream to photograph, both awake and asleep. At just over a week old, she kept staring straight at my camera when she was awake, but also slept for some of the sweetest sleepy shots. I also got to photograph her big sister and brother, and the three of them were so adorable together!

You’d never know from Leia’s sweet stare that newborns can actually only see clearly from about 8-15 inches away. They also are only awake for about 3 minutes per hour, on average. What an impressive little one! (Info cited from https://www.motherandbaby.co.uk/baby/baby-care/newborn-facts-trivia/)

My newborn sessions include the option to include parents, siblings, and/or family shots. I highly recommend including these shots for a variety of reasons, not the least of which include: showing off how tiny your newborn is in comparison to parents/siblings. And of course, showing the precious new relationships forming with your new baby!
