Kamila’s 1st Birthday Photoshoot was her 4th session with me this year (take a look back to her 2 month, 6 month, and 9 month sessions). Getting to photograph her this year was such a highlight for me! “Watch Me Grow” sessions are a special way to document a baby’s first year milestones and I highly recommend them.
I got to meet adorable little Isaiah last year for his newborn photoshoot, and he has somehow gotten even cuter! He is so handsome with the cutest little smile. His “One and Loved” theme for his one year session and 1st birthday party is one of the best ideas I’ve heard yet.
For one year sessions, I like to start with some portraits, add in some balloons and “ONE” letters, then get to the most fun part with the CAKE! Smashing a cake can get messy, and babies always love it when their parents choose to wrap up the session with some adorable baby tub shots. Isaiah made the whole session a blast and we ended up with so many sweet photos.
I got to meet this little beauty and her parents for a special one year Fall cake smash session. I loved the special items they brought like a vintage Winnie the Pooh book. From her big brown eyes to her sweet curls, her gallery is full of gorgeous!
Riley’s 1st birthday cake smash photos couldn’t have been more fun — she is such an absolutely beautiful baby! She has the BEST hair ever… oh my goodness I LOVE her curls!! She is so photogenic and expressive, and just as cute as it gets.

Then, fill out my questionnaire so we can work together to customize a session unique to your little one! Cake smash sessions typically start off with portraits (with optional family and/or sibling shots), and end with the cake smash. My favorite way to end a cake smash session is with baby tub photos! Babies absolutely love it. Within two weeks after your session, I’ll email you a password protected gallery from which you’ll select your digital image downloads and/or optional print products. Meeting Josie and her parents was such a treat! I had recently bought some butterfly decor for my studio, so I was excited when her momma requested a butterfly theme! This little brown-eyed beauty is so photogenic, and she made creating some beautiful photos for her first birthday a dream.
Dayven’s Lion Wild One Cake Smash was a hit! Cutie Dayven, his parents and big brother drove to my home studio in Menifee from the Anaheim area for his first birthday cake smash photoshoot. Because he’s a Leo, he had a Wild One lion theme for his session. He was a bit scared of my studio light, and wanted to snuggle his momma a bit, but it all worked out in the end. I had so much fun with Miles’ 1st Birthday Cake Smash! I first met Miles’ family a few years ago when I got to photograph his big sister for HER 1st birthday cake smash. It was so fun to see his momma and big sisters again. Miles is as cute as can be with his blond curls and stunning blue eyes!
Enzo celebrated his first birthday in style with a race car cake smash photoshoot! Enzo’s momma owns a party decor business, and she always brings such fun and creative elements. We started the session focusing on just baby, and ended with some tub shots to wash off all that frosting! 😉 Happy 1st birthday, Enzo!
