Baby Girl's First Year in Photos: Newborn to One Year Old
This absolutely beautiful little girl's mama searched for a baby photographer around the Beaumont area, and I'm glad that she found me out in Menifee. They visited my studio for her newborn, six-month, and one-year sessions, and I loved getting to document her growth and development along the way. I also loved that her mama chose a simple, minimalist style for each session, allowing the focus to remain entirely on her gorgeous baby girl.
When I first met this little beauty as a newborn, she had the most incredible head of red hair. It was one of those features that immediately caught my attention and made her portraits extra memorable. Wrapped in soft neutrals and photographed against a simple background, her delicate features and vibrant hair became the focus of every image.
Six Month Sitter Session
By six months old, her personality was shining, although she was understandably feeling a little shy for this session. She greeted the camera with gentle smiles, curious expressions, and plenty of eye contact. Her gorgeous red hair and big blue eyes made her portraits extra stunning. She was learning to sit up so her mama brought a sweet little basket for extra support.
One Year Photos
When she returned for her first birthday session, it was amazing to see how much she had changed over the course of the past year. Her hair had gradually softened from a rich red into a soft strawberry blonde shade. She was sitting confidently and showing off her sweet smile. Looking back at all three sessions together, it's so fun to see the transformation from a tiny newborn into an active, expressive toddler.
I always appreciate when parents choose a minimalist approach for milestone portraits. Simple styling allows the focus to remain on the child and years from now, these images will still feel timeless because they showcase exactly who your baby was at that particular stage in life.
