It's throwback time again! Follow me on a journey through this rainbow baby’s first year in photos—a story filled with so much love from the very beginning. Newborn sessions often carry an emotional depth that is hard to put into words, and watching her grow through her milestone sessions over the first year is a beautiful reminder of how much hope and love a new baby brings.
Rainbow Baby's Six Month Photos
A “rainbow baby” is a baby born after a loss -- just like a rainbow appears after a storm, she represents light, joy, and the promise of new beginnings after a deeply difficult chapter. She filled the studio with sunshine, bringing the sweetest smiles and a beautiful rainbow balloon arch to celebrate her milestone session. Like many six month old babies, she was still learning to sit up, so I posed her mostly on her tummy and back, with a few sitting shots with some added support.

This was one of my favorite cake smash sessions ever—a truly happy baby girl turning one, surrounded by soft, dreamy shades of pink. She lit up every photo with her expressive little smiles and playful personality. The delicate pink tones, sweet details, and simple styling came together perfectly to highlight her milestone in a way that felt timeless and classic, keeping the spotlight all on the birthday girl.
This session also holds a special place in my heart because it was one of my last sessions before moving to California.
