I love getting to photograph the biggest milestones in a baby’s first year and watching them grow—from sleepy newborn snuggles, to learning to sit up at six months, and celebrating turning one with a fun cake smash session. Photographing sweet baby boy Chidike throughout his entire first year was such a treat. I first met him during his in-home newborn session in Hemet, California, when he was just 7 days old. His family had recently moved into their beautiful newly built home, and it was the perfect setting to capture the beginning of their family.
