Celebrating One Year: A Classic Smash Cake Session near French Valley
I was so excited to welcome this cutie back for her first birthday photos! I absolutely loved her newborn session last year, and it was one that truly stood out with her unique butterfly birthmark and the adorable photo of her sleeping in her daddy’s firefighter helmet. I love that her mama requested a timeless, classic style because it kept the focus on the star of the show! She also brought a few sweet props and simple ideas that added a personal touch without taking away from the clean, elegant feel of the session. It’s always such a joy to see how much my tiny newborn clients have grown by the time they come back to celebrate their first birthday!
I started this beautiful little one's photoshoot with some classic portraits, then moved into a simple cake smash with a simple white balloon garland backdrop, which is available as an option for all of my first birthday sessions. I wrapped up the session with a fun tub splash, which is always the perfect way to end on a playful note.
