Sweet Chaos & Cake: M & M’s First Birthday Cake Smash Photos
I recently met the cutest set of boy-girl twins, M & M, for their first birthday cake smash session. Twin sessions are always a bit more exciting, and this one was no exception! Between keeping track of two busy one-year-olds and capturing all of their adorable expressions, their photoshoot was wonderfully chaotic in the best possible way.
As with all of my twin sessions, I make it a priority to capture a variety of images of each child individually as well as together. Every twin has their own unique personality, and I love documenting those little differences while also preserving the special bond they share. These two gave me plenty of opportunities to do both, from sweet smiles and curious expressions to playful interactions with each other.
Of course, the highlight of the session was the cake smash. Both babies dug right in...and I loved that baby girl also went for her brother's cake!
