Temecula Family & Newborn Photography { Maeve's 1st Year from Newborn to One }
As I prepare to open my new studio here in Menifee when the new year rolls around, I've been spotlighting some favorite past sessions from my studio in Southern Utah. There are so many wonderful families and sweet little faces that come to mind, and this gorgeous baby girl was one of my favorites -- and I love her beautiful name!

In addition to baby milestone sessions, first birthday cake smashes, child portrait sessions, family photography, and maternity photography, of course I also offer a variety of newborn session options:
- Deluxe Newborn Session: This comprehensive session takes place in my home studio in Menifee and lasts about 2-3 hours. It offers a variety of setup and posing options, personalized to your preferences, including colors and props. Family, parent, and sibling photos can be included for no extra cost.
- Mini Newborn Session: This is a condensed version of my Deluxe Newborn Session, lasting up to 1 hour in my home studio. It is typically for baby only, but if time allows I can sometimes include a couple of quick shots with parents.
- Petite Newborn Session: A sweet, simple, 20-minute newborn session for baby only. No props, no setups, and minimal posing—just pure, timeless baby portraits. It’s a perfect option for anyone wanting an extra-quick, budget-friendly way to capture those precious newborn moments.
- Lifestyle Newborn Session: This session takes about an hour or two in the comfort of your own home, any time within the first 8 weeks of your baby’s life (between 2 days to 4 weeks old is ideal). It is a beautiful way to document those precious bonding moments with your new family member. Parents, siblings and pets are welcome and encouraged to join in the photos!
Baby Girl's Newborn Photoshoot
One of the best parts of my job is watching how much babies change as they grow, and I was lucky enough to photograph this little one throughout her first year.
I first met her as a tiny, sleepy newborn, all curled up and content. I loved getting to meet her parents to capture some beautiful family photos as well. Her mama brought a gorgeous flower crown that added such a lovely touch to the session. Of course I had to snap some close-up macro shots of her perfect little features too.

Six Month Photos
In a flash, this little beauty returned for her six month session. This stage is always one of my favorites. Babies are full of personality, curious about everything, and showing off their cute smiles and new sitting skills.
Her mama brought along a globe and her passport as a personal touch, reflecting their family's love of travel and the many adventures that lie ahead for her. It was a sweet reminder for me of how meaningful it is to get to photograph sweet little ones as they begin their journey and discover the world around them.
First Birthday Photos
Before I knew it, it was time for her first birthday session. Looking through the photos from all three sessions is such a sweet reminder of just how much changes during that first year. The sleepy newborn grows into a curious and happy baby, and then into a confident one-year-old with a personality all her own.
Being invited to document these milestones is something I never take for granted. Families trust me with some of their most treasured memories, and it's incredibly rewarding to create images that tell the story of a baby's first year. Sessions like these are such a meaningful reminder of why I love what I do.
