This handsome baby boy’s session was filled with beautiful family moments, classic portraits, and the happiest cake smash with a cute bath splash to wrap up the fun. This family did an amazing job choosing outfits for their session. Family Photos to Celebrate the First Year
Before moving into the birthday boy's portraits and cake smash photos, I captured a variety of family photos with his parents and big sister and brother. One of my favorite parts of first birthday sessions is documenting the bond between baby and their parents and/or siblings at this exciting stage. At one year old, babies are full of personality, curiosity, smiles, and movement, which always makes sessions fun and unique.

A Fun Cake Smash to Finish the Session
The literal icing on the cake for a 1st birthday photoshoot is of course, a cake smash. This sweet boy had so much fun digging into his cake. The neutral styling carried beautifully into the cake smash portion of the session, keeping the entire gallery cohesive and timeless while still allowing plenty of room for fun.
